About me
Crystal Andrus has 12 years of experience in the learning and development field after being in secondary education for several years. She began her corporate learning career in the oil and gas industry, holding various learning roles from instructional designer to talent management advisor before transitioning into the manufacturing sector. Crystal has been part of Westlake for five years, serving in multiple learning and development roles before assuming the position of Learning & Development Manager in 2024. In her current position, she oversees enterprise learning programs from leadership to safety, manages learning resources and technology, and supports career development and performance for all employees. Crystal takes a pragmatic approach to learning and development while being committed to employee growth, strengthening performance, and driving towards business results. She has been a member of ATD Houston since she was a graduate student and is a proud alumni of University of Houston, where she earned her Master’s in Human Resource Development in 2014. Crystal is a certified DDI facilitator and holds expertise in administering and interpreting 360s and other leadership and development assessment tools.
